Join MSED in welcoming Charlie Chesbrough to the stage to talk about the North American Economic outlook for 2017.  In addition to sharing insights about light vehicle demand and supply , he will share the long-term trends and overall economic concerns that impact all of us.

Speaker Bio:

Charles has more than 25 years of experience utilizing data to identify industry trends and opportunities. Since joining OESA in 2016 he has managed the organization’s research and analysis initiatives, and provides guidance to members on the economic and industry outlook. He previously worked at IHS Automotive for 10 years as Director of Industry Analysis and Senior Economist where he was responsible for developing and integrating statistical models and economic scenarios into HIS global automotive forecasts. He also represented IHS forecasts and research to organizations, clients and media, and at professional seminars and international industry events.


He previously worked for Ford Motor Company’s marketing strategy group as well as two technology start-up companies and two market research firms.


He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Business at Michigan State University and a mster’s degree in applied economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He returned to Michigan State University and completed all courses for the economics Ph.D. program.

 

MSED Event Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations will be accepted until 5pm on Friday, October 14th.  Cancellations received by this date will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee, with a minimum charge of $5.  Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations received after this date; however, substitutions for another person to attend in your place are gladly accepted.
